Welcome to The Educator Lens. Have you ever thought about what goes on in the mind of your friends, who are educators? The main purpose of this podcast is to have people live vicariously through what an educator does in their school career. Such topics can range from the typical school day, educational pedagogy, better work habits, AI, you name it! Every podcast will end with a thought provoking question. Each podcast is designed be short, but some topics might be longer and have more thought in it. I hope you enjoy this podcast and please share with any fellow educator out there! :)

About the Host
Wilmer Bataclan is a seasoned mathematics educator with 8 years under his belt. Graduating from the University of La Verne with a Bachelors in Mathematics and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University, Wilmer teaches high school math in California. Being a podcaster was not on his to-do list; however, he was inspired by his life experiences and wanted to share it with the world.
His podcast, The Educator Lens, brings listeners in so they can see that the lives of educators are not any different from other professions. In fact, some of the podcasts will discuss topics that others will relate to.
When not teaching or podcasting, Wilmer aspires to go out and try food from many cultures to get a better appreciation of them. He is also an avid video gamer and is open to playing most RPGs, role playing games on various platforms.
